esama stands for love –
love for quality, tradition, and impeccable cleanliness.

Our name embodies a promise: “ama” – from the Latin amare, to love. It is this love that has formed the heart of esama since the 1960s: the love for fabrics, for colors, for freshness and purity.

Our story began in Stansstad. It was there that the recipe was created that remains the soul of our curtain and drape care to this day. Passed down through generations, it combines tradition with trust – and makes esama more than just a detergent.

Our specially developed esama wash is more than just an ordinary detergent: it was originally designed for the gentle cleaning of curtains, but is also an excellent substitute for conventional delicate detergents. Anyone who wants to do something good for their textiles trusts esama.

50% recycled PET

A conscious step towards a more sustainable future.

Our PET packaging consists of 50% recycled plastic. This way, we reduce plastic waste and conserve raw materials without compromising product quality.

Together with our suppliers, we continuously work to improve technologies and supply chains to further increase the proportion of recycled material in the future.

We Take Responsibility

Trees are crucial for the balance of our ecosystem. They produce oxygen, store carbon, provide habitat for animals, and contribute to the regulation of the water cycle. We see it as our responsibility to support their protection.

One Tree Planted

A central component of our sustainability efforts is our partnership with the organization "One Tree Planted".

As part of this collaboration, we invest in reforestation projects worldwide. One Tree Planted is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting, restoring, and nurturing forests. It does this by planting trees to restore damaged ecosystems, promote biodiversity, and combat climate change.
